Bad relationships only get worse
|
Bad relationships turn into the worst
it all starts when they don't put you first
they start doing things out of the usual
never completely truthful
ungrateful, unfaithful,
almost hateful
conceited,arrogant,
the opposite of heaven sent
waste of the time we spent

| This is an excellent poem, as it reflects the pain, bitterness and disappointment of a bad relationship. In a way, it is great that such a bad relationship has ended. Sometimes, a man shows us his best and brightest colors in the beginning. They call on time, take us out, treat us well. Then, they change just like the seasons. Sometimes it is a waste of time, but with each relationship, you begin to understand yourself more. You will be stronger, and ready for the next relationship with a guy who will bring you joy. |

Hey Melony, you are right on the money in this poem.It is indeed a waste of time being in a relationship with someone that doesn't love you unconditionally and most importantly doesn't cherish or respect you. There's always someone better out there for everyone.Very good poem, take care
Edwin |
