I personalized the word Death, and when I referred to God, I capitalize the letters.
Not another religious tale you might say,
Nothing but boring goodie good stuff
That packs, rams and squeezes out play
All intrigue from existence that's tough.
And you deny the ONE who said,
‘Death' couldn't keep us?
Yes, 'Death' will grab everyone's life
Influencing every person whom he meets
To someone who tried to stop strife.
Conceived, not by love, but what seethes
By one who Denied the One who said,
‘Death' couldn't keep us?'
His mother brought him forth on the day
That the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor
Who desired us in a watery grave to stay.
Enlightening us, we had no calm arbors
And denied the One who said,
‘Death' couldn't keep us?
However, those who have expired are not lost
Though our enemies continue to stalk and kill
This one found out early in life, death's cost
He welcomed ONE who conquered death's will,
By not denying the HIM who vowed,
‘Death' couldn't keep us.
