Paul's Lament

"Strength in Weakness 2 Corinthians 12. Saul had to be broken in order to become humble. After his pride ended, God gave him the name of Paul, then He gave him strength and brought blessings into his life. However, after Paul's conversion, few treated him kindly. If you highlight below, you will see more than nothing.

I am nothing
For no known reason
I feel rejected and ignored
One would think I committed treason.

I am nothing
Told ‘not wanted’.
Hear my enemies laughing
Hush and see those who have taunted.

I am nothing
I do what is honorable
Am passed by, few are looking
Seems that I make others uncomfortable.

I am nothing
Evil pushes me aside
Each day I hear more huffing
But, power grows in weakness, and I abide.

I am nothing
But in Jesus I celebrate
And I give Him all my praising
Let all know, in the end-times, He will rate.

I am nothing
Those in power hate me
Even though I give them warning
My head rolls, while I am on bended knee.

I am nothing
While living on earth
I am happy; my Lord is loving
For in God’s Heavenly realm, I feel mirth.

I feel I had to be broken and then I have only begun to feel humble.
In the USA it's sometimes hard to be humble when you have so much.
God will help me to be humble. Man cannot because man is too selfish.

Well said, Paul was a terrific deciple for his God. Reading about him in the bible pays off. He did not always have it so good, was put in prison, but he stood by his love of God and spread the gospel around the world.
