This is another Chaiku poem inspired by a verse form last weeks sermon
|
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Won’t take over
Overcome or rule
God will stay near.
Temptation here
Stand up to it
We are stronger,
No need to fear.
Temptation here
Tries to lead us
Stand up to it
Evil does sear.
Temptation here
It does not care
Takes us away
God’s eyes do tear.
Temptation gone
We found our way
He said we could
Now we move on.
