A poem of how your words and thoughts determine your life

The Word

The word is strong the word is weak

The Word is hard the Word is soft

The word is heavy the word is light

The Word brings Joy the word brings sorrow

The word brings laughter the word brings silence

The word brings wounds the word brings healing

The word gives pain the word gives pleasure

The word gives life the word gives death

The Word gives sight the word gives blindness

The word creates the past the word creates the future

The word creates our world the word creates our heaven

The word creates our strength the word creates our weakness

The word can be our jailor the word can set us free

The word can be our servant the word can be our master.

The word can be our Saint the word can be our sinner

May the word bring us joy, laughter and healing

May the word give you sight, pleasure, and life

May the word create your world, your heaven, your strength, and your future

May the word be your servant, your saint, and set you free.

Lord let my word be used to do your will and may I use the word only to do good for my fellow man so that he

May know your word through me.

There is certainly power in the words we speak, and the words we hear from others. You have brought out so much in this poem.
The last verse is a beautiful summation of what you desire from the words YOU speak, and a worthy goal for all!

The word is our road map for life, it will help us to build upon a solid foundation which will help us to weather life's storms...if we are willing to sew the word in our heart and follow His plan, or we may choose to disreguard our map and stray off the path intended and build upon sands that will provide temporary happiness and security and will eventually be shaken by the storms of life! Such an inspiring write my friend, very few poems touch me so deeply as this, write on! Enjoyed!

If your words had been used instead of stone-bricks to build that famous tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-11) they would have reach Heavens.

Great way to pass God's words on. The contrasts are strong, and the writing if most accepted by me. Thanks ***********. You are such a good prophet.
