We were the first to know,
We were the last to grow,
Each did eke out our part,
A beast of blackened heart.
Messengering systems,
World-wide communes,
A global daily gathering,
Decipher Internet runes.
One did create the heads,
Another developed the tail,
One plugged in the brains,
All computed in the details.
When saw it was complete,
We took our assigned seat,
Then the lights slowly died,
Readying for the great treat.
Stunned, we wet on ourselves,
Gasp! We sat silent in our awe,
At sights so incomprehensible,
Aha! Shuddered each we saw.
Like an old-time movie reel,
It held the maximum appeal,
IT was our lives’ work bared,
A social POP we all shared.
A grand dragon had emerged,
It pulled us in and submerged,
Reappearing smiled and said,
“I’m in ur hearts and ur heads.”
There’s no escaping it’s sequel,
No way to escape a bell’s peal,
Addiction no cure from the grip,
Once in thoughts fate is sealed.
For whom the bell tolls,
Believe IT tolls for thee,
Our beast is now risen,
So get ready for 6’s...3.

Aw, it's just another phase we're going through, like learning to write, and before that, to learn a common language. Makes for interesting poetry, though.
