Total annihilation makes me queasy,
But in the small pieces of easy living,
Please think of all of us then decide,
If you prefer life and love and giving.
Gaffes we make hurling our lightning,
Are enough to frighten the holy man,
Oneness will heal our missed marks,
When this we do finally understand.
It not only about ourselves we learn,
That our paths are interconnections,
Wormholes to truth, joy and wisdom,
Not black-holes of deadly indecision.
Shocked into a quiet noiselessness,
My puny mind’s sure realizing today,
A feeling Mother Earth and Heaven,
Z through A, care, guiding our days.
Like compasses direct us,
East, West, South, North,
Leading symbols of truth,
Indicate ways to go forth.
Trustworthy direction finders,
Feeling magnetic inclinations,
Ninety degrees, Webers fixed,
Point us to polar destinations.
Higher and higher we trek,
Up the mountains of Tibet,
Leaving the valleys below,
Traveling to pay life’s debt.
Let us leave the Earth planet,
Better as our orbits are spent,
Circumferentially measured,
An oblate spheroid content.
