JESUS BIRTHDAY
Good morning Lord
I just stopped to say
Thank you for the sunshine
You send our way each day.
Thank you for the baby’s birth
We’ll celebrate so soon
On that night when they gathered round
There wasn’t any moon.
One bright star that led them
To the manager on that night
That tiny babe was lying
What a joyous, beautiful sight.
You’ve given us a reason
To sing and dance for joy
On that special day
Mary gave us her baby boy.
We have no gifts to offer
To you this special night
We offer up our hearts
And hope you take delight.
We hope to spread the joy
That comes to those who know
That little baby Jesus
The love that He did sow.
We come to love and worship you
We’ll touch the hearts and promise to
We’ll take great pride when we say
Merry Christmas to all
On Jesus birthday.
