There are times in my life when I am reminded, I need to lean completely on the Lord. This past week has been one of those times.

YOU ASKED ME LORD

THROUGH THE OPEN DOOR

I SAW YOU STANDING THERE.

YOUR ARMS WERE OPEN WIDE

YOU DIDN’T SEEM TO CARE.

YOU ASKED ME TO COME OVER

AND STAND THERE BY YOUR SIDE.

YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE WILLING

TO ALWAYS BE MY GUIDE.

THE HEAVENS OPENED UP ONCE MORE

WITH ANGELS ALL AROUND

YOUR LOVE AND GRACE AND BEAUTY

NO TRUER LOVE I’VE FOUND.

OUR GRACIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER

ON YOU OUR LOVE BESTOW.

NO GREATER LOVE OUR FATHER

THAN TO YOU WE’LL ALWAYS SHOW.

This is quite an emotional poem to me too. I love my Lord and it shows that you do too and others will too by reading this poem. Glad it is to be passed around. you surely put the words to it that make one want to love Jesus and be with him each day and follow him. Congratulations on this post, it is surely a winner.
