Saturday is our nations "Happy Birthday" What a time of rejoicing and celebration that will be. We join together happy we live in the "land of the free, because of the brave"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA

One great Nation under God

That’s what she means to me

A nation and a land where

The brave have set us free

In this great country

Our founding fathers said

Four score and seven years ago

The Proclamation read

To keep this country where we live

We need to focus hard

Stay on our knees and thank You now

Our prayers to you dear Lord

Land of the free and

Home of the brave

Didn’t come without a price

Nor the sinners you’ve come to save

We need you in our life

We watch old Glory fly on by

In the parade on this happy day

We remember Lord it’s because of you

Please hear us when we pray

We thank You for our country

We thank you all along

We thank you for the blessings

We sing a joyful song

Happy Birthday America

We say with such great pride

We fly the flag of freedom

In You our hearts abide

Bless those who gave their lives

We thank them all today

God Bless this flag of freedom

God Bless the U S A

I ENJOYED THIS POEM...IT IS GOOD TO BE AN AMERICAN AND ALTHOUGH WE ARE FAR FROM PERFECT, IN COMPARISON WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD WE ARE ICE CREAM WITH SPRINKLES ON TOP. AND I AM THANKFUL FOR THE MEMBERS OF OUR ARMED FORCES THAT HELP TO KEEP IT THAT WAY...SOME PAYING THE ULTIMATE PRICE. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS WORK AND BLESSINGS. JOYCE
