OUR LORD WILL BE THERE WAITING

In the grand scheme of things

Life is never what it seems

Who closed that door in front of you?

Who stomped out all your dreams?

Another door will open

I can say that with a smile

Let me tell you how I know

I’ve waited quite a while.

Our Lord will be there waiting

He’s on the other side

There’s a reason that door closed

Please don’t try to go and hide.

You have to keep on trying

When your life seems turned upend

Stand strong my friend and know

On whom you can depend.

The Lord will be there waiting

All you need to do is ask

Count your blessings as they come

He’ll prepare you for the task.

Now on your knees everyday

Thanking Him is what you do

Tell Him that you love Him

He’ll hold the door for you.
