This morning I kept putting off my time with the Lord. HE reminded me "we have a standing appointment."

BRAND NEW DAY WITH THEE

I heard your voice this morning Lord

But I have too much to do

How about tomorrow Lord

When the day is fresh and new?

I’ll let you know a good time

When I can squeeze you in

A time less hectic and I’m not

Frazzled and feeling at the end.

I want to start the day Lord

Just with you and me

But there comes a time

Will you hear my plea

Now my Lord I’m learning

To start each day anew

By starting each day in prayer

And thanking only You.

When I take the time Lord

And open up my heart

From the moment I wake

That’s when I’ll always start.

Now my day’s less hectic

Don’t know how that could be

Maybe cause I’m starting

The brand new day with Thee
