On A Cold Winter’s Night

A celebration of a miraculous night so long ago.

On A Cold Winter’s Night

On a cold winter’s night
So long ago,
The Heralds proclaimed
The birth of our Savior.

It was
The miraculous beginning
Of a new chapter
In our history on Earth.

A star guided the wise men
To a humble manger
Where a mother gave birth
To her first son.

When the angels beckoned,
The shepherds came
To pay homage to Him
Their newborn King.

Jesus’ gentle smile
Touched their very souls,
And all knew that God
Had remembered them.
