What a powerful work,Linda; things are Not always what they seem are they?
This poem says so much about "appearances".
Thanks for sharing.

| Wow powerful poem Linda. Yes our outer selves can portray a very different picture to the inner turmoil. I pray anyone reading this who is feeling suicidal may be able to open up to someone even just one person they can trust and know that they are precious, all of them not just whats on the outside but the dark stuff inside too. God sees it all but his love is beyond words. Thank you for writing such a moving and thought provoking poem Linda. God bless. Baz |

Wow! Never expected that!!! Very well done, Linda....love the attention to detail..and you're absolutely right...we just don't know what another is thinking...the outside might look polished and perfect...but the inside is often shattered....Great job!

This is so sad but you have well stated what life is like. We see the book's cover. Not always do we read it, nor understand it when we do...

Suicide is perhaps one of the most personal acts a person can perform. The acts or warnings leading up to them are often in plain sight and yet most people fail to recognize them, especially if it is someone we love or care about. It has no boundaries...rich or poor, male or female, young or old, beautiful or ugly...
