Here We Are

Well, this is one of those song kind of things. I was thinking of a song, and decided to base a poem off of it. Comments, reviews, questions, or anything else you have is appreciated.

Here we are, trying to get some answers

Here we are, trying to get them now

Something tells me that we just won’t get ‘em

Who knows, maybe we just might get ‘em…

Looking for clues in a darkened world

Look, the king’s banner unfurled

Look at me in the eyes and tell me

Look and tell me what it is you see

See that river, a flowing blue stream

See that the blue river always does gleam

See how I just desperately need

See how I need you to go and lead

Tell me of the life that you always love

Tell me of the life with the perfect dove

Tell how it used to be, to forget the year

Tell me how life got destroyed by their fear

Here we are, trying to get some answers

Here we are, trying to get them now

Something tells me that we just might have found

Who knows, maybe answers we already knew.
