Like A Thief
|
Like a thief it came my way
It can't be seen by the light of day
It creeps in and takes away
A;ll your hopes and happiness by the way
It steals in without fear
And takes away everything you hold dear
What i wouldn't give to hold you near
But like a thief it came my way and left me here
It came and took you my dear.

A sad lament,but I sense strength
and hope is there to carry on.
Well expressed poem!

Oh Helen, how this makes my heart ache for you. Your pain is evident, yet you sound strong in your resolve. So sorry and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers...
Be always safe,
Karen |
