Falling
|
Leaves are falling silently to the ground
Nothing is making a sound
Hush now the leaves are falling like tear drops
Watch as they spatter on the ground
Like rain drops
People are crying in the streets
When will we learn?
When will we see?
Turn around, look, tell me
What do you see?
Do you see or have you all gone blind?
Darkness is fast approching
Save it,
Hold It,
Bear with it,
Hush now the leaves are falling.

I love your poem. Gives food for thought. Wish we would all stop, listen, and see what is happening around us.
Take care and keep writing.
