I can certainly relate to this compelling write, Kay. One of my daughters recently moved to Toronto (I live on the west coast here) and the other one moved to Melbourne, Australia. Thank you for sharing. Love and best wishes,

So true!
We always miss the things we can't have for the time-being.
Instead of treasuring what we had and have.
Humans are so stupid sometimes, don't you think so???
Good write.

| Oh, Kay.. the way you approach this longing is so effective, so beautifully poetic.. the curtains, the bit of sun.. I could feel myself there and could feel that yearning to have them with you.. This is such a human feeling and you've written it exactly as it truly is. I love this poem. katy xox. |
