Vision isn't always what we see.

The Optometrist
by Jim Stewart c 2009

Things were looking a little cloudy.

So I went to the optomistrist

Just the other day.

He gave me the bill

And said," Your sight is okay."

This got me into wondering

Why things still looked the same  to me.

Maybe it wasn't what I was looking at

But what I had seen before.

Like Granny in her underalls

Oh Lord!

It was like a miracle

That came straight from God.

I started seeing better

As my eyes cleared up.
