I was about seven or eight when this
happened...I saw him a few years ago,
but didn't say anything. He was still handsome and had silver hair.

I had a crush
On this boy
He was a tow-head
Like me

His name was Scottie
We were in the same class
And he had been
At my house more than once

One day-
On the way home
From school
We dilly-dallied

Stopped by
This muddy muck
Which was left
After ice melted

Scott thought
He was funny
That day
Pushed me into that muck

I had a purple outfit
On that day...my favorite
Covered in mud
No more friendship or crush...
