A poem dedicated to a special Lady in my life
|
One Hand, One Heart
After all the storms and clouds have passed thru
I realize that the sun continues to shine….
All because of you
I’ll always keep our special moments of embrace
Savoring the time, and knowing fully well
That…It’s not the things that can be bought
Or even taught
That is life’s treasure,
Rather, It’s that very special entity of appreciation
That I ultimately measure.
You entered my life, breaking such a dull routine,
Baring your soul for a much greater role.
Mere words cannot begin to express my zeal….
Nevertheless, I decided to convey just what I
feel. This is my tribute that no one can refute, for no matter what you call or how you see it, it didn’t come without a measure of design!
I’d like to think that our togetherness was fashioned by the hand that is ever so Devine.
If true love never fails, and if we adhere to faith in Him,
How can that torch that shines so brightly suddenly go so dim?
No matter what, in my mind I can honestly say – “I Love You….and it’s so true
One Hand, One Heart – I’ll always pledge allegiance to you!
