| Well written, Linda. I enjoyed this - just before my Dad died, he looked at me with those sad blue eyes of his and said, "You know, I have a million dollars worth of advice but no matter how hard I try I can't seem to sell even a nickle of it!" Unfortunate, though it is, not everyone becomes wiser with age. |

The main thing we have to remember is that life is for living. Far too many people
reach the end without ever living at all, they just exist until they don't exist any
more. (See my poem on "The Secret Is To Live, Not Just Exist" if you want to see what I mean).
Nicely done. |

"Getting Older" is a thought's developer poem, which flows under the beats of a sage heart that listens to the dictation of the soul.
If we care to take care of the tasks of each day, aging will mature each day, and everyday will be an enlighted living.
"Getting Older" showed me the way... pleasurable reading from an excellent WRITING.
