Happy, joyful thoughts

Thankful thoughts

Easy when the path is smooth?

When the path becomes rocky,

Where is my joy?

When my heart feels empty,

Where is my gratitude?

When I feel stuck,

Where is my happiness?

I decide

I decide to be happy

I decide to be joyful

I decide to be thankful

How?

Prayer, meditation, free flow writing...

Letting the sun beat on my face...

Soaking in a hot bath...

Breathing in the scent of lavender and chamomile...

Holding someone's hand...

Giving something to someone I don't know...

Happy, joyful, thankful....

Brings peace, passion, energy

This is an excellent poem.Its important to do the littliest things to keep us happy and have peace in our lives.I would go to the park and watch the city skyline while hearing the water crash onto thousands of rocks.Sitting on the park bench,seeing the grass green.Those things keep joy and happiness into my life and appreciate what is important.Even a smile from a woman would make my day.take care Edwin
