I've been on AD for many years now, and I know that I've made lots of friends here but the time has come for me to say goodbye. I'm not mad at anybody. I'm not frustrated, I just simply do not have the time to funnel towards my writing anymore and that saddens me.
It saddens me because I can't be here to join all my friends that I've made here. It saddens me because so many of you have stood behind me and pushed me into making headway when I didn't realize it was even possible, but I just can't be here anymore, and I'm honestly not up to the struggle.
I also don't have the funds to continue on either, but then last year somebody gifted me my membership and although I was so very grateful, I also was saddened to realize I couldn't use the gift in a more fruitful manner.
If there is monies around to be given I would rather them be given to somebody that could use it to further their writing needs. I thank You. All of you that have followed me throughout the years and have given me all the pushes and shoves that it took to get my words on the screen.
Again, Thank You.
Lisa

| There must be something very good awaiting your new arrival. Good luck in your further endeavors, and do come back when time and means do warrant your doing so. I appreciate your friendship. |

I will begin by saying that I do understand; I rarely have time to be here anymore, either. The price of membership is high when we don't use it and I have been struggling with the decision to stay and try to find more time for writing or leaving and saying goodbye to all who have supported me. You have grown in the time you have been here, Lisa, but sometimes it is just time to move on. I will truly miss your kind words and your excellent poetry, but I understand that our needs in life, sometimes have a way of interfering with some of the things we want. Be safe, keep healthy and if you ever are able, please come back and say hello.
Take good care, my friend,
Sherry

| I'm sad to see this, Lisa. I will probably follow you out the door, but for different reasons. If you send me an email address, I'll let you know where you can write and they will pay you. |
