Trick-Or-Treat Haunt
Witches, bats, black cats and ghouls
Wizards wielding magic tools
Costumed kids with evil faces
Beg for candy in haunted places
In moonlit graveyards worldwide
Among the bushes monsters hide
Witches stir their ghastly potion
Dark of night shows ghosts in motion
Within the woods lurk screaching cats
Hungry vampires disguised as bats
Skeleton bones hung down from trees
Make eerie music on the breeze
Unknown spirits rise from their tombs
While witches fly on magic brooms
Wolfen howls rip through the night
Mummys stalk in pale moonlight
Jack-o-lanterns with scary faces
Are set to light some shadowed spaces
There's no safety in those glowing eyes
They will dark their candles, to hear your cries
As children search for candy treats
Scary sounds fill haunted streets
They sense the evil of this night
Avoiding monsters, averting fright
Later as kids fall asleep
Into their room goblins will creep
And steal some candies from their sack
Then sneak away, not looking back
So trick-or-treaters do beware
And approach this night with special care
For monsters own those hallowed streets
And just may steal your bag of treats
