| I am so so sorry for your loss and the pain of regret. Its taken a long time for me to compose myself enough to review this one. What an amazing poem, thankyou so much for writing it, I could have written it about myself (except that I wouldn't have done such a good job) The man I loved died not knowing how I felt about him, we were soulmates for ten years and one word we never could learn was "goodbye" It is his birthday today. Reading your poem has really helped. Thankyou soooooooo much. Hugs. God bless. Baz |

| Beautiful images mixed expertly with longing and regret. May we all find the courage to learn from your words and say "I love you" when we have the chance. Thanks for sharing this deeply personal poem. |

"A mosaic of you and me
Sugared memories, colored bright by time" :::> W O W, Sherry! How creative can you get? I feel your grief, but this is beautiful.
Can't help but enjoy that aspect. It is a terrible shame that we
so often remain tongue-tied where it comes to letting people know
how we feel about them. Thank God we have poetry to console us!!
Talented and passionate souls like you. Always, 'Pea' |

There is a deep sadness within your poem, the emotional grief grasping one as they are left to but reflect upon a love than enveloped ones completeness. Such sadness to be left with this feeling and yet there are so many who live this reality...
nice work...

| this poem speaks directly from the heart, revealing your sensitivity to an experience you alone have endured as well as survived ...it is sad when our deepest feelings are left unanswered ,,, to some people, saying "i love you" is an impossible feat and a tragic lapse of emotive judgment ... extrememly moving and well written, Sherry ... |

Sherry,
Doesn't this say pain! I'm not sure there is anyone that isn't going to relate to this in some manner. We've all had regrets from time to time when we find out a loved one or friend has passed away or just moved away, and we didn't take the time to stop or go over and spend that extra bit of time with them before it was too late. And you're right. To say I love you sometimes is just not what we want to admit although its always been true.
You do great work and it continues to grow. Great reading you again.

Love is very fleeting and very fickle. Or is that just lust and once it is filled to satisfaction, just up and leaves without warning? You have said a lot here that many including me can identify with. This really pulls at the heartstrings and makes the soul very sad. Thank you for sharing.
May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie. |
