Sometimes it seems it is hard for me to sense Jesus is with me. I long for him and just can't seem to feel his presence. This is what this poem is about. Maybe some of you can relate. We all have times when it is hard to experience Jesus.In this poeam Jesus responds to the longing heart.

My heart waits for it's lover

It beats with songs

only for him

It waits patiently for

it's creator to appear

The song of longing

for the tender touch

and voice of it's only

reason for living

It cries for the one

whose compassion

will sooth any pain or hurt

Wait! Here he is!!

I was with you all the time

My love was beating with you

You became focused on

worries and fears

You weren't able to see me

But I am always with you

Turn to me and we will have

a song of everlasting faith
