Today I visited David, one of the members in our program who is dying. They are taking life support off tomorrow and they don't think he will live long. I was able to tell him I love him and thank him for the joy he gave me.What a blessing to be able to do that.

He lays in his hospital bed

not being able to talk

and having to depend on

others for all of his daily needs

Could be depressing yet

strangely enough I saw a

beautiful vulnerablity and

yes- even joy

He will probably die tomorrow

when they turn all his

life support off

But there is a wonderful light

surrounding him and will

be guiding him home

I sang He's Got the

Whole World in His Hands

and the other visators sang with me

I sang He's Got David is His hands

I believe God does have David in His hands

David, I wish you a joyous

and peaceful journey home
