Some thoughts and a prayer regarding the shooting.

Never knowing why

sacred ones ore killed

Never knowing why a

man surrenders to the

darkest side of his being

Never knowing why events

such as this happen

But we DO know we can share

our simple yet powerful

light of love which overcomes

the darkness of violence

We know we must never

let hate,need for importance,

or pain to have an impact

regarding how we treat others and take

over our heart

We know if each of us

live with compassion, service,

and forgiveness we can bring

hope and encouragement to

a broken yet wondrous world

Cindy,
So sad that these innocent people had to die. When they went to the movies that day they had no inkling they would never make it home. Thank you for sharing!

Many blessings,

Got me thinking about that guy from Sweden who went to the youth camp and shot all those kids. Also the phrase, “There but for fortune, go you or I.”

These things are happening all the time, and always have. Today, the media make it multiplied a thousandfold. We must remember, in the course of things, these events, even 9/11, are small compared to those who died in the American Civil War and in World War II. We must not let our anger and dismay lead us to the wrong decisions about life. It will go on with or without us. We all will die sometime.

A truth we must remember in dark times :-) working with love and light is easy in positive moments but it is these dark times that show us how far we have come in our awarenss of how to share our light.
