I love Rain!
|
|
Twirl outside,
Mouth open wide,
Looking at the sky,
I don't want to stay dry.
Wear a bathing suit,
Some flipflops that are cute,
Run wild and free,
Bring a friend or three.
Fall on the ground,
And roll around,
Get covered in mud,
Like there's just been a flood.
Tackle all your friends,
When they're dirty it can end,
No worries, not even one,
Today all we do is have fun.
Take a shower,
Smell like a flower,
Make some smores and hot cocoa,
Get rid of the cold and away you go.
The pouring rain,
Doesn't have to be a pain,
Just look at the bright side,
And you don't have to stay inside.

being able to go out in the rain for fun takes a different kind of person. most look at it as a spoiler. guess where i'll be next time the puddles form?
good write.

Kaci, This poem was lots of FUN! I just adore it ... made me smile! I love summer thunder showers with lots of lightning.
