real vs unreal

So what if I am bold?

Do I make you nervous?

So what if I'm not old?

Do I make you jealous?

Maybe I am scared too

But it’s not written on my face -

I think I know my truths

Who're you to call me a disgrace?

You think you are the right thing

Just because you tuck your tee shirt in

And you jean is washed and your eyebrows all plucked in

You hair is neat, not colored

And you wear your study glasses

But would believe me if I told you

These are just your little farces

I see the little bad you

Bitch you, hazard you

I can see past your aggravations

And your falsified validations

You try so hard to fit in

That you'll never know where all you've been

You bite on your temptations

And you suck up on your frustrations

You say right is only right

And you even think that you can fight

For the morality brigade

High preachers of dirt and hate

You flash around your pedigree

But you couldn’t even set you free!

I see through your facade

You're just a self destructive hazard

While you’re calling me them names

Telling me I am rabid and insane

I just pulled the damned precious ground

From beneath you and your under

You're looking all around

Something tore you all asunder

I'm just your inner face

You secret voyeur disgrace

I'm the bitch in you, the punk in you

I'm the reality you won’t face

Go look for a hiding place

Cause I'm now coming around

And I'll raze you to the ground

Too long been in forced hiding

I know I'm not ashamed

So what if we look the same

And are called by the same Name

You're just a passing fling

I'm hardcore, the real thing

Girl on the edge
