A Child's Dilemma

Is it really the child's dilemma or the parent's?

Because she could not understand,
the child went to her father:
"Father, if I asked you for bread
would you give me a stone?"
"Heavens no! I care greatly for you."
"And if I asked you for fish
would you give me a serpent?"
"Of course not, you are my child."
"Why then make me take a bus
when I asked you for a book?"
"I think it is your bed time."

IS IT THE CHILD'S DILEMMA? YES...THE PARENT IS THE CHILD'S DILEMMA. THE CHILD REQUESTED A BOOK...A MAP...THAT WOULD INSTRUCT ONE HOW TO NAVIGATE THROUGH LIFE...MAKING MISTAKES HERE AND THERE...FALLING BUT GETTING BACK UP AND EVENTUALLY... LEARNING AND GROWING. BUT THE PARENT PROVIDED A BUS WHICH DOESN'T ALLOW GROWTH BUT FOSTERS 'DEPENDENCE'. GREAT 'THOUGHT PROVOKER' THAT IS DONE WELL. THANKS FOR SHARING AND BLESSINGS. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
