A MIRACLE
copyright 1988 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C.
When life suddenly seems a burden the soul weary and heavy laden; when spirit dimmed and suppressed and feelings hardly expressed— Pray and let a great man aboard, a man of great miracles— the Lord!
When earth is no longer fruitful, and its gardens no longer beautiful; when waters no longer flow pure, and for corruption and disease there’s no cure— Pray and let a great man aboard, a man of great miracles— the Lord!
For whom life is nothing more than fear, fear not and shed ye not a tear; and where seems not an answer to pain, remember, the solution is the same— Pray, and let a great man come to aid, for His love and mercy surely never will fade.

Ah, yes, so true. Great spiritual piece. |

Bonita, I enjoy your poems very much. They are many miracles that go unoticed, when we are depressed. This poem gives hope.
