A birthday poem to my wife,

 

On Your Birthday

 

I celebrate your birth~

the day you arrived and set into

motion a chain of improbable

events that would eventually lead

me to you.

 

I celebrate your life~

the joys and sorrows uniquely

yours that you have shared with

all who call you friend.

 

I celebrate your love~

especially that part which you

have set aside for only me.
