"In the meadow we can build a snowman, then pretend that he is Parson Brown, he'll say are you married, we'll say no man, but you can do the job when you're in town."
I love that song, a I love the winter even though now it is more of a hassle than anything else. But I remember the winters in Michigan's Upper Peninsula when I was growing up. These haikus brought back those memories. Thank you Reg for the smile you gave me today. Happy New Year.
May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those that you love and that love you, may He be with you always and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth and ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie. |

When I started reading this poem I didn't realize this was a collection of haikus on one topic because each stanza seemed to flow from one to the next smoothly.
In one of your haikus you refer to winter as HE. Why is that? Just curious if that is a typo or a specific reason for it? I am used to winter being referred to as IT. |
