There's bears, bears everywhere
Big kitty stalks me by the creek
My face in a pile of bear scat
My spirit at last is at peace

This short work, Duke, takes me to a certain place, a real and uncomfortable place but with meaning. Its pith and impact resonate - funny and quirky, yes - but more...that final line makes me sit up.
