This? I thought I'd repost this as it appears things have only gotten worse and still, there seems to be no end to what this Administration and its Leader will do, want to do...when is enough, enough?!
And it is not just Iraq, it is so much more, sadly, so forgive the cynicism and the anger felt-- one worries & likely others also worry...
hoping somehow for an end to what has simply gone too far as recent events evolved. An older piece, but the timing seemed to call to take another-- yet another look, sadly...
I also know there are those who disagree, but that is the nature of us, so...better the 'Pen' than the 'Sword'?
In any case, Thank You,
micha

to all who serve(d) & their familes & loved ones & to all the Innocents & Innocence lost...
Your woolen coat is wearing thin Its lining bearing holes within. As still each day the dying call Some wonder if you care at all?
You howled you sought to end the pain-- To stop Unholy Tyrant's reign! A statue fell upon the ground... And you reached out and claimed a crown?
And trumpets blared and man rejoiced Along with you in Victory's Voice! And watched you fly in Gloried Vest-- As all was yours, you'd reached the crest.
So take your crown, proclaim and sing-- Let Victory and Freedom Ring! Proclaim and wear your crown, but know It isn't over... no. No... No!
Say what you will but we? We Pray! We're burying our child today...

Pen is sword in this penned gem of wise insight. Wonderful Job Mia.....
The world is so confused as to what is happening half the time I feel we are not told enough in the dark.....

If only life were that simple, Micha, and no one is more cynical than me of ideologies - but there are two emperors involved. All we can do is keep praying that God will invervene and soon.
