All questions are important and deserve answers.

SOMEBODY ASKED A QUESTION

WHY?
They didn't know the answer
They needed one
They wanted one
Maybe they deserved one --
Maybe not
One question -- that's all.

WHAT?
What was the question?
A request for clarification
Not a lot to ask
Could have been answered in about
   four monosyllabic sounds
Maybe more -- possibly less.

HOW?
A simple question for direction
Easy English
Good grammar
Easily decipherable
Clear, exact, precise
Requesting same in return.

WHO ASKED IT?
Nobody, Everyone
A single entity
Possibly a child
The universe
You, me
Someone.

WHAT WAS THE QUESTION?
A profound request -- an answer to life's struggles
A simple "Where is it?" "Who is it?"
Profound -- Maybe, Maybe not
Or is it?

WHAT WAS THE ANSWER?
Does anyone care?
Does it really matter?
It wasn't answered anyway.

Frustrating, bordering on infuriating. Lead the reader on and then leave him gasping for breath at the end of this nonsensical endeavor. That is why I loved it.

It makes one think. I wonder how many times similiar thoughts have crossed all of our brains? Good piece! Sandi

Your writing says that which many people and possibly most of our teens have floating around in their heads, as they struggle to find their place in society...Very nice job.. I enjoyed the read.
