Learning to grin and bear it,

She found her spirit.

Time passed by,

She no longer cried.

The phone rang,

And he sang.

She fell for the song and dance,

Another chance for their romance.

Months go by,

Not even a “Hi”.

The phone rang,

She hung up, not interested in a fling.

He tries to pull her back in,

She remembers why she fell in love with him,

And there they go again, until the next end.

The cycle repeats because our hearts are resilient.

We think we can never love again after our hearts have been broken. However, this is not the case. Be thankful that your heart still has resilience. If you can go back, you can go forward. Let go of the desire to resurrect an unhealthy relationship and use that resilience to love someone, who will love you!
