UNDER ME, OBSESSION

HIS LOVE COURSED ME,

I COULDN’T THINK OF NOTHING ELSE BUT HIS TOUCH,

I HELD HIM IN MY ARMS, WHEN HE WASN’T THEIR,

I EXISTED WITHIN HIM,

I SPOKE TO HIM, AS MY VOICE ANSWERED BACK, A CONVERSATION ALONE,

I WAS DAMAGED,

I COULDN’T HELP MYSELF, HE WAS MY OBSESSION,

LIKE A DRUG I CAME BACK FOR MORE, BEGGING, NEEDING, AND WANTING HIM JUST TO LAY EYE’S ON ME,

I MOANED IN THE NIGHT AS THE TOXIC OF HIS SCENT, SEDUCED MY MIND BODY AND SOUL,

I WOKE UP WITH CRAVINGS, OF MORE, SEEKING WHAT COULD NOT BE FOUND, BUT IT EXISTED, ONLY IN HEAD,

HIS FLUID WAS INJECTED IN ME, AS I LICKED MYSELF, HOPING TO TASTE WHAT HE LEFT BEHIND,

LEAVING ME TO FEND FOR MYSELF, I COULD ONLY HOLD ON TO WHAT BREATH I HAD, SO THAT I WOULDN’T ACHE NO MORE, THEN WHAT I HAVE BEEN,

I SEIZED TIME, AS TIME OVERED LOOKED, BLOOD RAN FROM ME, I COULD ONLY STARE,

I TRIED TO FLUSH HIM AWAY, HIS TOUCH, HIS THOUGHTS, THE NEED THAT BROKE ME INTO WHAT I HAVE BECOME,

WITHOUT HIM I WAS UNCONSCIOUS TO THE WORLD, NOTHING MATTER MORE, NOT EVEN ME,

BLACKNESS, WAS MY DAYS,

PEACE COULD NOT FIND ME, DETERMINATION I HAD NONE
MY MIND SCREAMED, BUT WORDS COULD BE HEARD, WHAT DANGER LURKED IN OBSESSION,

TRAPPED, I FELT NUM, NO ONE COULD REACH ME, I WAS BEYOND CRIES,

UNDERSTANDING FORGOT ME,

I PRAYED FOR HEAVEN TO HOLD AND PROTECT, WHAT I COULD NOT HOLD,

AS I LAY, IN THIS TWIGHLT STATE,

I hate it when this happens, that early state of infatuation, when he's on the brain on the brain and UM other places too in your body like an incubus. Ugh! You've captured it here.
