My Curse

Walk away and leave me be.
Let the world run its course.
Destiny, you may believe, does not rule our lives, but there my friend you are wrong.
I was destined to live in misery,
never to feel true happiness or the joy of light.
Imagine, if you will, the first light of day
rising high into the sky and illuminating everything.
That is how it should be.
My destiny on the other hand is like the sunset
when the cold moon rules the sky and the light is cast down from the heavens.
Never to see the light or feel the warmth of the sun.
That is my curse for all my sins I committed either in knowledge or in innocence.
