The Rain

Kind of real. Written about a relationship I once had which is no more. Was written when that relationship had just budded.

The ever-pouring rain...
It has filled my life since that
Fateful day
Filling it with
Agony and despair.

But now, as I walk on the water-darkened sidewalk
The rain suddenly stops.

I look up to find the sun shining through the
Dark and dreary clouds of grey
Sheading light on all I couldn't see before.

The light gives me coursge
The coursge I need to forgive mother Nature
For leaving me in the dark.

The courage to walk down the sidewalk
As if the sun had been shining
My entire life.

Loving can be and is a beautiful sharing, but can also be one of the worst hurts ever felt and no scars to show. Interesting!

Be safe,
