Boo!

I saw the blood and guts

the ghoulish masks

they put on to speak,

the howls

the harrowing cries

for revenge.

A Satan

spat his invenctive

in my face.

I heard the pleas

of the victims

and yes,

the dead.

So I gladly turned off the news--

for a kid with a monster's head.
