This poem is of betrayal... |
|
It is not fear you see in my eyes,
It is contempt for all your lies.
My hate burns deep,
Making it hard to sleep.
You say it’s all my fault,
That folly will come to a halt.
But tell me, what do you know?
That my hate will daily grow?
No, you don’t wish to see,
You will never let me be.
You push me this way and that,
Like I’m nothing more then a rat.
Still my silence will remain,
And nothing you will gain.
Leave me to my pain,
For our friendship now lies slain.
