Given the heated debate about homosexuality within America, I want to make it very clear that SIN is a universal consequence of our society's alienation to God. 

Sexual deviancy is a consequence by which God is withdrawing from our society

as indicated within the Biblical Teachings of:

Romans 1:24. 

The wickedness mentioned above includes ALL forms of sexual immorality such as pornography, fornication, adultery, pedophilia, polygamy, bestiality, and yes homosexuality. 
 

So, before one considers attacking those caught up in homosexual sin, one must also realize that the list mentioned above includes heterosexuals as well.  The bottom line is that sexual deviancy will not be tolerated by God irrespective to what some progressive-thinking churches are endorsing.
 

Furthermore, the judgment seat of God will hold ALL accountable for their actions irrespective of their progressive endorsements. Those defending these lifestyles are the very persons that the Bible gives warning to the faithful as being “Blind leaders of the Blind”, whereby both will end up in divine judgment  (Matthew 15).
 

In God’s eyes, there are no alternative marriages other than that between a man and woman.  If you have embraced a position that any other alternative lifestyle is an acceptable norm within our society, then you have unknowingly taken a position against God by compromising on His Word.  Furthermore, you will be held accountable for this position when you stand before the judgment seat of God.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
 

National policy that attempts to redefine sin as a societal norm may appear to be unobtrusive, politically correct, tolerant, not affecting you or your family, benign or even beneficial from a rationalization standpoint.  Yet, the consequence is ultimately another level of wickedness that God defines as an abomination.  Committing and condoning these acts of sexual deviancy, while condoning these lifestyles only further alienates God from this nation as he withdraws his hand of protection from our country.

 

A Prayer for Repentance:
 

Dear Father in heaven.  Have mercy on us! 
 

This nation has abandoned Your loving precepts on morality, while embracing every other form of deviancy – which You have identified as an Abomination (Desperately Wicked in your Eyes). 

How foolish a nation we have become!  We have become so blinded by our sin that we cannot see how Your judgment has already started against the wickedness of this nation. Yet, this is the first phase of tribulation, as further peril is being stored up for us if we don’t repent! 

The land we live in is cursed by the rivers of blood from the 50+ million unborn who were ripped from their mother’s womb.  Our children and next generation are being cursed, as our government mandates (within some states) the teachings of immorality, sexual promiscuity, and alternative lifestyles within our schools. Our military is being worn down as our enemies increase all around us.  And, our nation is being cursed while You are being removed from every instance within our society.  Oh how, we have betrayed You!

The divine hedge of protection that once encompassed this nation was torn down by our own people!  How desperately foolish we are indeed!  Woe to us! America will continue to receive further judgments as we heap sin upon sin with each passing day!
 

Have mercy on us Oh-Lord!!  Restore the bones which are dried up and broken due to our own sin.  Send forth the power of the Holy Spirit throughout this land to convict the hearts of our citizens unto repentance! Convict the leaders within our churches unto repentance!  Reveal yourself to those who have compromised on Your Word for the sake of political correctness or out of fear of loosing their Not-For-Profit status!  How DARE the church allow itself to be bridled from speaking God's truth by allowing itself to receive Federal and State funded BRIBES under the hidden cloak of Tax Exempt!!  Who are your SERVING -- GOD or MAN?
 

Father, I beseech you to remove those leaders who have embraced SIN within the church and who are leading many down the wide path of eternal destruction!  Replace them with God fearing men and women who's hearth felt desire is for saving the lost than building their personal empire and reputation.
 

INTERVENE Oh-Lord!!  Without your Intervention, without your Mercy, we will surely be consumed by the sin and darkness which surrounds us.   I cry out to you dear Father!  Glorify your Son Jesus by breaking down the gates of Hell within this nation! 

Restore us unto your TRUTH!  Revive us Oh-Lord!  Revive us Almighty God!  For the sake of Your Glory and Your Honor!  Restore us back to YOU!
 

I plead to you Almighty Father, in the name of your precious Son --- JESUS!  Amen.
