Final Thoughts

This the final poem in my book, The Feast and the Morning After.

Final Thoughts

Feasting on peace and prosperity drinks,

Honeymoon on unknown planets galore,

A traveling bride through space and time,

Bearing the children of our passionate Kind.

The Spellbound abolish their magick,

Words that sing mightier than a sword,

God of muses now undressed,

Formerly clothed in death shrouds.

And now we arrive at the Culmination.

Once again on the rim of a philosophical cup,

The ambassadors wrap up their ramble.

Having paved the road

of a restful duration,

Summoning a prophetic earl ship,

A forgotten, noble, lost cause,

We ceased thinking about thinking.
