Sometimes it's fun to personify something without life that we cannot live without. |

Sunshine Personified
The Venetian blinds were
Reduced to slits -
Yet somehow the sun’s beams
Squeezed their way through.
Afterwards they boogied
Across the stillness
Of my indoor world,
Pierced my snoozing eyes,
And warmed my spirit.

These are wonderfully warming and insightful words David...and a perfect sequel to your last poem...I'm so glad the sunbeams found you and warmed your spirit!
Hugs, Diana... |
