Dream Of You

Dream of You.

I think I’ve found a dream…

The one to end all dreams,

For even if I wished my whole life through,

I never could believe that love is everything it seems

To be inside this wondrous dream of you.

I wonder-was this planned?

I think that it’s so grand

That Heaven doesn’t even have a clue.

To make a man so happy I can hardly even stand

To be inside this wondrous dream of you.

Can this be even real?

The love that I now feel,

Or will it drop and break my heart in two?

I’d trade my life for every little moment I could steal,

To be inside this wondrous dream of you.

It’s making me afraid,

If this should ever fade,

The world would turn a thousand shades of blue.

But what I feel inside me now just has to have been made

To be inside this wondrous dream of you.

So can I touch your heart?

Or even just a part?

If there is nothing else I ever do,

I’ll thank my lucky stars that I could even get to start

To be inside this wondrous dream of you.

I can relate to this completely as I am experiencing this kind of "thing" right now and, because of past experiences... ...I do worry. Thank you for sharing, John. Love and peace to you,

Don't be afraid, John, I'm sure she'll always be, like all of us, a girl who longs for love.
So many in this society berate the heart as something to follow, but the intellect can only get any of us so far. The heart is much more trustworthy. If you feel the answers are simply in your dreaming, dream on...
