We continue to work on perfecting our poetry
|
Yes, that’s me
Look and you’ll see
My hair is pink
My eyes are chocolate brown
My arms are freckled
My hands are tan
My heart is beating
I’m crazy
I never hurt my Guinea pig
My friends are coming over
I live in a trailer
I hope I will get to baby sit
I dream I get to see my cousin
It’s all clear as can be
THAT’S POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY ME
STUDENT 1
Yes, that’s me
Look and you’ll see
My hair is blond
My eyes are hazel
My arms are muscled
My hands are germy
My heart has a flappy slappy flap
I’m a fine gentleman
I never use drugs
My friends are fun and so joyful
I live in a wooden house
I hope I will have a nice day
I dream spooky dreams
It’s all clear as can be
THAT’S POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY ME
STUDENT 3
Yes, that’s me
Look and you’ll see
My hair is sandy brown
My eyes are logging brown
My arms are crazy
My hands are large
My heart is filled with love
I’m a nice boy
I never hurt my dog
My friends are cute
I live in a mobile home
I hope I will get married
I dream I’ll be a dad
It’s all clear as can be
THAT’S POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY ME
STUDENT 4

Look and you’ll see
My hair is very long
My eyes are not too brown

My friends are nice to me
I live in a big house
I hope I will get to have a sister

It’s all clear as can be
THAT’S POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY ME

Poets are born and then we "educate" the poetry out of them.
This is great. Thanks for sharing. |

I enjoyed all the poetry. This time I really like Student number eight because of the words:
I never be mean to my parents
My friends nice
I live in a brick house
It's a great poem.

| Marvelous poetry, indeed. And after another week of dealing with animal cruelty, it's very refreshing to hear that your students are nice to their pets. |
