A new year is the ideal time to brush off the hopes the dreams we kept dormant last year. With the beginning of a new year, each of us gets a new chance to shine!

SHINE !

Shine! this new year holds many promises;

Shine despite your doubts, your fears.

Shine on regardless of your plight.

Let the beauty in you burst through

So others can be led by your light.

Shine on through darkness, set backs, and pain;

Shine through the tears, rough winds and rain!

Let your brightness dispel all that

Comes to dampen your dreams.

Shine! no matter how pale or bleak.

Shine on for your voice that must speak

Its truth to this generation.

Shine, Shine on!
